Mustafa joined Marx Realty as its Chief Administrative Officer in January of 2024.   From 2014 to 2023,  he worked at Lument, a multifamily commercial mortgage lender, where he held senior roles including Director of Operations – Investment Sales and Senior Managing Counsel. Prior to joining Lument, Mustafa was in-house counsel for Capstone Capital Group, LLC, an asset-based lending fund and began his legal career as an associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman, LLP focused on private equity transactions and securities law.

Mustafa earned his Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis – School of Law, and he earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
